NEXT CHAPTER MEETING

BABJ Members:

The Birmingham Association of Black Journalists will meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 26, at The Birmingham News, 2201 Fourth Avenue North, downtown.

A number of important issues will be discussed, including:

-- The launch of BABJ's new newsletter, Newsdesk.
-- The Town Hall Meeting on Education, now planned for August.
-- This summer Unity conference in Chicago, and the chapter's help in sponsoring students for the conference.
-- BABJ’s tax filing.
-- A spring social event for members.
